| http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachments/todays-finds/713825d1355784328t-weeks-finds-donniedecfinds01.jpg Got out a couple of days this week and checked a few sites. We hunted an old house site and dug the match safe, a few flat buttons (not all pictured) the little forked tongue buckle (I've never seen one like it and don't know how it was used). Got a seated dime that is worn so bad that you can barely see what it was. On Sunday Tom and I hit a construction site in Nashville and dug several bullets and I got a union staff officer's button (cuff size) with a trace of gold gilt but my big find was a Wisconsin state seal button with lots of gold and a pretty rare back mark of Goodard & Bro. Extra. I was happy, happy, happy! Thanks for looking, Tennessee digger PS- Tom dug a Confederate "I" button also with a tin back. via tennessee digger http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/todays-finds/325608-weeks-finds.html tagmetaldetectornews | |||
